Anni Muhlegg, BSW, RSW, MA (Counseling Psychology)
I have a deep passion for my work and value the therapeutic relationship as foundational for successful therapy outcomes. I aspire to meet those I support in the sacred place of possibility. Open-hearted and compassionate, I have a genuine respect for everyone's unique process. I am told that I am gentle and keenly skilled at providing safety and a nourishing environment inviting trust, connection, integration and the transformative process of Soul retrieval and personal healing.
Inspired by beauty and the natural world, I thrive in creating a safe container for learning, sharing and healing. I have a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology, a Bachelors in Social Work and am a Registered Social Worker (# 10120) in good standing with the BC College of Social Workers.
My views of Health & Approach: I understand health and healing as a dynamic process that involves balancing the spiritual, emotional, physical and psychological. I am fluent in both French and English and hold strong non-verbal communication skills as well. Overall, my practice is inspired by Positive Psychology, the natural world, the transpersonal (how we make meaning of deeply personal human experiences), compassionate and somatic (body-centered) modalities. I much value balancing work, rest and play. I am an avid equestrian, climber and love to travel, cultivate gardens, learn & practice Indigenous healing practices, yoga and sing in local choirs, write poetry and music and paint and sing as a way to connect to Divine Source.
