Healing Sounds
Accordind to Yogic and Taoist Teachings, our main organs resonate to sound for healing. This has a potent calming effect. Very effective anytime. I recommend these in the am or in the evening before bed. Lung Sound sssssss – gently close your jaw so that the teeth meet, with the tongue behind the teeth. Associated organ: large intestine Corresponding to emotions such as grief, sadness, depression or courage, righteousness, high self-esteem. Kidney Sound chooooo – lips forming an “O” as if blowing out a candle. Associated organ: bladder Corresponding emotions– fear, shock and conversely to acceptance, gentleness, wisdom. Liver Sound shhhhhh Associated organ: gallbladder Corresponding ‘negative’ emotion – anger, frustration, resentment: positive emotion – loving kindness, benevolence, forgiveness. Heart Sound haaaaaw – open mouth, rounded lips. Associated organ: small intestine.
